Can I save the results from my APT analysis to my personal computer / drive ?
No, the data is securely stored on-line and thus cannot be copied to your own computer or drive. Should you wish to have a record of your results, we recommend that you print out the relevant screens / pages

Does the APT link / interface to MYOB or other accounting software?
No, but a Chart of Accounts has been developed as an appendix in the User Guide to assist you in collating the relevant financial data. APTŽ has been developed to use the information you have from your accounting package plus details from your reservation management system (RMS, VANS, etc).

How do we take into account wages for capital works of caravan park assets ?
These should be included in the replacement cost.

Is it possible to undertake benchmarking with other tourist parks ?
Yes. With the result that you obtain, it will be possible to benchmark your park with other tourist parks. BDO have developed benchmarking functionality so you can compare your park against other parks based on turnover levels or against other leasehold or freehold parks.

What is the basis of the Weightings?
The weightings have been devised following extensive consultation with Tourist Park operators as well as reference to industry benchmarks. Further detail is included at 2.3.2 of the User Guide.

Can I work out a break-even price per site night?
Yes, depending on what you want to include in your break-even analysis you can amend your weightings so expenses are included in your per site night results. Refer to our case studies for a detailed discussion on how to achieve this.

Does it allow me to calculate different tariffs for different seasons and still maintain my overall result?
Yes, the BDO Tariff Reckoner allows you to set up to four different rates that reconcile back to your average nightly tariff.
